Students who are studying in Class 3rd to Class 12th can participate in CSC Olympiad exams.

English, Hindi, Gujarati, Bengali, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malyalam, and Odia are available languages in which students can participate in the exams according to the selection of grade as well as subject.

The foundational subjects in the entire school education are English, Hindi, Mathematics and Science.
English and Hindi are the mainstay of education throughout the period of learning and hence we test English and Hindi proficiency.
Mathematics concepts are linked, what you study in one grade, will help you understand the concepts of the next grade, hence all strands of Mathematics are being tested.
Science presents the application of both language and logic, embedded in English and Mathematics this will be tested across grades.
Thus, the core subjects of CSC Olympiad are English, Hindi, Mathematics and Science.

CSC Olympiad focuses on enhancing conceptual knowledge of students and thus all questions are fundamentally conceptual in nature.
• In Mathematics, the core concepts cover all strands arithmetic, algebra, equations, geometry, mensuration and more, The focus is to provide graded levels of problems that help traverse procedural and conceptual problems.
• In English and Hindi, the focus is to delve deeper in the structure of the language and help students master the various areas of English and Hindi language acquisition.
• In Science and separately in Physics, Chemistry and Biology the focus is to bring to the fore, the foundational understanding of the core concepts.

The question bank in each of the subject has been made by experts of domains. Conceptual questions are the main core of the question bank, with adequate practice on procedural and fact based questions.

The registration fees under CSC Olympiad exams is Rs 150/- per subject.

The mock tests provide simulation of the final Olympiad exam. The mock test will have the same screen, timing, number of questions and comparable degree of difficulty of questions, for all the subjects. This will help the students get acclimatized to this kind of testing.
Also, it will help them test their problem solving capability in a given time frame. Mock tests are the best way to prepare for future, as progressively all exams are becoming online and students get primed for this new format. Every subscription/plan will have 5 mock tests.

Ranking criterions which are followed in the exams are:
• Marks obtained in the exam.
• In case of a tie, the student completing the test in lesser time will be ranked higher.
• In case of a tie again, they will be awarded the same rank.
• In case of any confusion, decision of the Academic Council will be final & binding

Awards that can be availed by students are:
1. First prize: students will be get reward worth rupees 21,000.
2. Second Prize: students will be get reward worth rupees 11,000.

Several provisions should be considerate during examination. They are as follow:
• Remote Proctoring online Platform will be used for fare assessment.
• The exam will be conducted in a highly secured environment on cloud.
• This will be a timed and open test.
• Student can practice test with sample questions.
• The exam will be conducted in a remote proctored examination.
• The application will capture and verify digital identification as verification.
• Candidate needs to login using his/her login credentials.
• It tracks candidate's face and also tracks if there is any doubt of proxy or more than one candidate taking test i.e. impersonation will be auto flagged and test will be paused until candidate resume on its genuine position.
• The application tracks activity on the user's monitor screen, provides warning or terminates the test if any unwarranted application is opened during the test. i.e. browsing tolerance will be zero during the test
• Exams are displayed under full-screen browser and it cannot be minimized. If it’s done then test will be treated as finished.
• Exams cannot be exited until it is submitted by users.
• Switching between tests or access to other applications is prohibited.
• Print, Print Screen and capturing functions are disabled.
• Copying and pasting anything to and from an assessment is prohibited.
• Right-click menu options and function keys are disabled.
• Audio and video chat streaming to proctor the exam remotely.
• High speed internet, webcam and power back up is must during the test.
• USB, VGA and HDMI projection will be not possible.
