What are different services related to Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) are administered by CSC?
CSC SPV and OMCs have agreed to facilitate their distributors to provide the
following services through the Common Services Centres:
• LPG Gas Booking
• LPG Distribution through CSCs.
• LPG Gas Booking
• LPG Distribution through CSCs.
How can VLEs book LPG cylinders?
VLEs can book cylinders from digital sewa portal by selecting gas connection
option.
What is the charge of LPG booking through CSC?
Rs. 2 for each refill booking will be charged by VLE from consumers.
4. Which OMC cylinders can be booked?
Cylinders from Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) such as Indian Oil Corporation
(IOCL), Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation
(BPCL) can be booked by the VLE from the portal.
What kind of information is required to book a cylinder through CSC portal?
For booking of HPCL & BPCL cylinders the consumer must have consumer number
available with them.
For IOCL cylinders, booking can be done with LPG ID, registered mobile number & consumer number.
For IOCL cylinders, booking can be done with LPG ID, registered mobile number & consumer number.
What is LPG distributorship?
Distributorship is the process through which CSC VLE can sell LPG cylinder to
consumer.
How can VLE start LPG distribution?
VLE has to first sign the MoU with OMC distributor and submit the security
amount of Rs. 1,000 to the CSC SPV. For more information VLE can select the
option LPG Gas Distributor on DSP.
Is there any other amount to be paid by CSC VLE?
No, there is no other amount to be paid to anyone.
What is the VLE commission for LPG distribution?
VLE will get commission of Rs 10 on per cylinder sale which will be paid by
distributor if it is delivered by distributor at POS/VLE premises. If Cylinders
are to be uplifted by VLE through its own vehicle from LPG godown of the
distributor then commission of Rs. 19.50 per cylinder sale which is to be paid
by distributor.
Is there any limit to the number of LPG which can be provided to VLE by distributor?
Maximum stock of LPG for VLE shall not exceed more than 100 kg at a point of
time.
Does VLE have to maintain any record?
VLEs need to maintain record pertaining to stock, receipt, and safety of
cylinders/DPRs refill defective generation.

How many MoU's can be signed by VLE?
VLE can sign only one MoU with one distributor only.
Is there any distance criteria for signing the agreement with the distributor?
Distributor should be beyond 15 km of area from VLE premises.
What are mandatory guidelines for VLEs to govern these services?
Guidelines which must be kept in mind by VLEs while governing these services
are:
• VLE have to make cage to keep cylinders
• VLE must keep fire extinguisher
• No security deposit is to be given to Distributor as Rs 1000 will be transferred to CSCs for cylinder through Digital Seva Portal only
• Branding and display of service availability & distributor details must be managed by VLE
• VLE should have mandatory agreement with distributors
• A register must be maintained by VLE for stock maintenance
• Maximum 100 KGs of cylinders can be kept at CSCs.
