Selection of eligible candidates

Step 1: Identification of digitally illiterate families by Training Centres in a Gram Panchayat
Step 2: Nomination of the eligible candidate from the identified family
Step 3: The list of nominated candidates to be prepared by Training Centre
Step 4: The list to be Verified by Gram Pradhan/Sarpanch/Panchayat officer/BDO/Tehsildar/ School Principal
Step 5: List of nominated candidates must be approved by the District e-Governance Society (DeGS) or its authorized nominee
Step 6: Then, register the candidate on portal & upload the copy of approval on the portal

Selection of eligible candidates

Step 7: Registration of the candidate nominated by the digitally illiterate family on official PMGDISHA portal through E-KYC process by capturing:
• Aadhaar number
• Candidates’ Name (Full name of the candidate as per school leaving certificate or any other government document)
• Father’s Name, Mother’s Name , Photograph , Demographic details, Communication details are captured from UIDAI database.

Training Process

Step 8: After registration, click on Launch Course tab
Step 9: Student can get training under the program for minimum 10 days to maximum 30 days
Step 10: Trainees would be provided video assisted teaching by trainer on the basic digital literacy
Step 11: Trainer would demonstrate about the content and hardware components of digital devices to candidates
Step 12: Trainer will conduct training sessions that would be based on E-content sessions
Step 13: Hands-on training to the candidate for practice will be provided to make the candidate familiar with Internet, Electronic Payment Systems etc.
Step 14: Periodic assessment would be conducted by trainer to make candidate familiar about the online examination
Step 15: Student can appear for Practice Assessments before final Test
Step 16: Within 30 days of registration, student must appear for the one hour exam at VLE’s training centre
Step 17: On successful completion of exam, student will receive a certificate
Step 18: If a person is digitally literate and want to get the certificate for digital literacy, they may go to the link for Direct Candidate & appear for exam
