Coding Through Scratch
Coding is a basic literacy in the digital age, and it is important for students to understand and be able to work with and understand the technology around them. The future is going to be run by the people having a new set of skills and coding skill is one of them. Educationists around the world have advocated that Coding needs to be a part of the school curriculum.
To keep abreast of the changing scenario, even National Education Policy 2020, lays emphasis on Coding as a skill among the students. Coding activities have proven to develop numeracy, logical thinking, problem-solving ability, ability to relate cause and effect, and computational thinking among the students. Training young minds to code is really an investment toward developing responsible and capable future citizens.
This Program is created using Scratch, Scratch is a block-based visual programming language and website targeted primarily at children 8-16 as an educational tool for coding.
