• The Tele-Law service is provided free of cost to those persons entitled to free legal aid under Section 12 of the Legal Services Authorities (LSA) Act, 1987, and at Rs. 30/- per consultation for “others”.
• A dedicated web portal on Tele-Law is available at: http://www.tele-law.in/ in 22 regional languages, for wide outreach by people of various and diversified ethnicities across India.
• To enable seamless penetration in the remotest areas, Tele-Law Para Legal Volunteers (PLVs) have been equipped with the Tele-Law mobile application. This mobile app enables pre-registration of cases during on-field activities. On receipt of the pre-registration request, the Village Level Entrepreneur (VLE) raises the beneficiary’s request for legal advice, to the Panel Lawyers.
• A dedicated Tele-Law dashboard has been made operational to capture real-time data on nature of cases registered & advice enabled.
• Tele-Law is fast emerging as a popular platform amongst the common populace in main-streaming legal aid. Tele-Law has effectively championed the cause of giving voice to the voiceless and won the trust and confidence of people.
