What are the various Forms that are used for various electoral registration services?
Different forms that are used for electoral registration services are:
Form 6: Application for inclusion of name in electoral roll for first time voter or on shifting from one constituency to another constituency
Form 7: Application for objecting inclusion of name in electoral roll or seeking deletion of name from Electoral Roll.
Form 8: Application for correction in particulars entered in electoral roll.
Form 8A: Application for transposition of entry from one part of electoral roll to another part of electoral roll of a constituency.
What is the process followed after user’s Form is submitted?
After the successful submission of any Form (Online) by the VLE, citizen will receive an acknowledgement receipt for further tracking of the same. A hardcopy of the Form with the enclosure needs to be forwarded to the respective Booth Level Officer for processing the same.
Is the process same for all the Forms?
Yes, process flow of all Forms remains to be same, except Form No. 8/8A for which the data is fetched from the Electoral Roll Management System (ERMS) Application.
Are there any documents which are needed to be uploaded with Form/(s)? Are they mandatory?
Yes, as per the requirement of the ECI, necessary documents like Proof of Address (PoA)/Proof of Identity (PoI), need to be submitted along with the respective Forms.
What is EPIC number? How can a VLE get the EPIC printing facility link from CSC?
EPIC number is the Elector’s Photo Identity Card number or the voter ID number. EPIC printing facility will be provided to those States wherein the State ECI has given permission to start election related services from CSCs including EPIC Printing. If the VLE belongs to the State where CSC SPV has got the permission, then the VLE needs to contact the CSC SPV’s State Office for getting the Link.
How can VLE check the transactions (EPIC or Forms) made?
Status against the Form/EPIC Printing submitted is available on the application or the VLE may visit to the AERO office to know the status.
How can VLE print the EPIC Card?
VLE need to use a specialized printer (Printing exclusively on PVC Surface) for printing the Aadhaar Card.
Will the voter’s ID card be dispatched to the mentioned address?
No, Citizen will receive the EPIC Card from the CSC Centre.
What are the size of the documents and photos to be uploaded?
The size of the individual photo and document should not be more than 20 KB.
How the reconciliation happens?
Reconciliation would be done at the end of the day and the money would be refunded to the VLE wallet.
